First of all, though... The ticker has begun counting in DAYS, rather than months or even weeks. Oof. Days are moving quickly, aren't they? MW went over to the new house today, and took a picture of his new bedroom, also know as Dr. Demento's Dream Den.

Clearly, this is why we sleep in separate bedrooms.

As corny as it sounds, the best thing about natural disasters is that it brings people out of their houses. I've never seen so many people out and about. MW have gone for walks to lookee loo for the last two nights: I logged over 15,000 steps on pedometer yesterday. Zing!

I painted one of the rooms in my former house an orange-ish colour for one of the renters. It was always so bright that I felt like I needed sun glasses every time I went into it.
It actually turned out not to be so bad though.. In the winter time it actually seemed toasty.
